Our next literary adventure, selected by Karin, is Townie: A Memoir by Andre Dubus.
Andre Dubus has received 5 stars from many reviewers for his latest work, Townie: A Memoir. Locals here in Massachusetts have curiously taken to reading his recollections of growing up in mill towns, notably Haverhill. Dubus doesn’t hold back from the realities of his childhood; divorce, poverty, violence which all play a key role within this literary piece. To learn more about Dubus check out his Website.
